Apollo Atomics

Apollo Atomics is an MIT spinoff and Y Combinator-backed company building the next generation of factory-manufactured pressurized water reactors (PWRs). By redesigning the steam generator into a proprietary Compact Steam Generator roughly 20x smaller than conventional designs, Apollo shrinks the overall reactor footprint by approximately 40 times, enabling units to be factory-built, shipped by truck, and deployed in under 24 months. The company is developing three reactor systems: the 10MW A-10, 50MW A-50, and 300MW A-300, targeting data centers, industrial facilities, and utilities, with electricity projected at 3 cents per kilowatt hour.
