Ed.ai is a French EdTech startup that leverages artificial intelligence to support teachers by automating the correction of student assignments, identifying individual learning gaps, and generating personalized remediation pathways. Co-founded in September 2024 by Cédric Bignon (CTO, ex-Microsoft), Jonathan Banon (CEO), and Rémi Mazières (CLO), the platform currently covers mathematics, French, and history-geography, and is being piloted across 40 schools in the Lyon Academy serving 4,000 students. Ed.ai's mission is to free up pedagogical time for teachers so they can focus on high-impact, human-led instruction.
