Rasyn is a Y Combinator-backed AI company on a mission to build a general intelligence for chemistry. Its flagship platform, Marigold, allows chemists and researchers to submit any chemistry task in plain language. The system autonomously pulls scientific literature, selects the appropriate computational tools, runs calculations on its own machine, and returns results alongside its full chain of reasoning. Unlike generic coding agents, Marigold is chemistry-aware, validating outputs between steps and integrating with tools chemists already use, including cluster job submission and on-premise model endpoints to keep sensitive data secure.
