Subquadratic is a frontier AI research and infrastructure company building a new class of large language models. Its flagship model, SubQ, is built on a proprietary Subquadratic Sparse Attention (SSA) architecture that scales linearly with context length rather than quadratically, enabling a 12 million token context window at dramatically lower compute cost. The company launched out of stealth in May 2026 with three products in private beta: a full-context API, SubQ Code (a CLI coding agent), and SubQ Search, targeting developers and enterprise teams.
