Vulcan Elements is a U.S.-based manufacturer of permanent sintered neodymium-iron-boron (NdFeB) rare earth magnets for critical defense and commercial applications. Founded in 2023 to directly compete with China's near-monopoly on rare earth magnet production, the company operates a manufacturing and R&D facility in North Carolina's Research Triangle Park and sources all materials and equipment exclusively from the United States and allied nations. Vulcan's magnets are deployed across defense, aerospace, robotics, AI data centers, and semiconductor fabrication, and the company is scaling to a 10,000 metric tonne facility in Benson, North Carolina.
