Dillon Mehta is the Co-Founder and CEO of CueBench, a Y Combinator-backed (S26) company building reinforcement learning environments for scientific reasoning and performance engineering, targeting frontier AI tasks where leading models still fail more than 80% of the time.
Dillon is a student at the University of Texas at Austin, where his research focuses on ML, robotics, and the reliability and security of multi-agent systems.
At just 17, Dillon went from an AI workshop to a late YC application and a live MVP built in three weeks, showcasing his exceptional drive and technical velocity. His research on multi-agent medical systems was presented at the NeurIPS 2025 GenAI4Health workshop.
CueBench is part of Y Combinator's Summer 2026 batch and is backed by NVIDIA Inception, with Dillon leading the company alongside co-founders Neel Gadde and Rishan Hemrajani.
CueBench builds RL post-training environments for frontier AI labs, targeting hard scientific reasoning and inference engineering challenges where the next gains in model capability are expected to emerge.
