
Doug is Co-Managing Member at LASP Capital, an investment firm focused on publicly-traded growth companies, and serves as an active angel investor in Brazilian startups.
Doug graduated magna cum laude in Economics from Princeton University and worked at Boston Consulting Group before spending eight years at General Atlantic as a Vice President.
Doug served as CFO of Nubank from 2014 to 2016, helping lead the fintech through accelerated growth and key equity and debt financings during Brazil's rise as a fintech hub. He also served as CFO of Oasis Collections and held roles at ClearLight Partners.
Doug founded LASP Capital in 2020, managing a portfolio of high-growth public companies with a focus on 20-30% annual growth trajectories. He has invested in multiple Brazilian fintechs including Caliza and Marvin.
During Doug's tenure at Nubank, the company grew from early stage to become one of Latin America's fastest-growing fintechs, eventually reaching a $45 billion IPO valuation in 2021 and serving over 88 million customers today.
