Dr. Burcu Bektaş Güneş is Co-Founder and CEO of TRAICK (operating under DATASURGERY), an AI-powered healthtech startup based in Istanbul, Turkey, focused on early cancer diagnostics through ultrasound imaging.

She holds a BS in Computer Engineering and an MS in Mechatronics, was awarded Best Paper by IEEE and MIRLAB in Morocco for her master's thesis, and pursued a PhD in artificial intelligence in healthcare at Istanbul Gedik University.

Dr. Bektaş Güneş secured TUBITAK BIGG grant support for her PhD thesis work, which directly led to the founding of DATASURGERY and the TRAICK platform, bridging academic research and real-world clinical impact.

She served as a Research Assistant in the Computer Engineering Department of the National Defense University, Turkish Naval Academy, and has published research across multiple journals and conferences in machine learning and computational intelligence.

TRAICK has been selected among Turkey's top healthtech startups, represented Turkish innovation on the global stage in the U.S., and is recognized as one of Turkey's leading native AI in healthcare companies, providing radiologists with AI-driven TIRADS scoring to improve thyroid nodule diagnosis accuracy.
