Dr. Chandrakant Bothe is Co-Founder at Oscorp Energy, an Australian seed-stage cleantech startup building AI-powered robotic systems to autonomously detect and remove lithium-ion batteries from waste streams.
Dr. Bothe earned his PhD in Computer Science specialising in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Hamburg, with a focus on human-robot interaction, and also holds an MS in Robotics.
He has built and contributed to foundational AI models and robotics ventures across Europe, with deep expertise spanning computer vision, natural language processing, and social robotics.
Prior to Oscorp Energy, Dr. Bothe co-founded and served as Chief AI Tech Officer at Foviatech GmbH, and has also founded or co-founded YOLOvX, WISERLI, WiserStep, and WiserBoard.
Oscorp Energy has raised A$1.3M in pre-seed funding backed by Atlas Sgr, Antler, and Antipodean Capital, and has signed an MoU with ASX-listed battery recycler Livium as a key design partner.
