Dr. Claudia Freigang is Co-Founder and CEO of Hearing Diagnostics Limited, a Scottish healthtech company on a mission to make reliable hearing screening accessible outside of specialist clinics and drive earlier diagnosis of hearing loss.

A former auditory neuroscientist specialising in auditory cognitive neuroscience, central auditory processing, and spatial hearing, Dr. Freigang brings deep scientific expertise and over 397 academic citations to her entrepreneurial work.

Dr. Freigang is a winner of the Women's Enterprise Scotland Awards 2022 (Funded Business of the Year) and regularly collaborates with leaders across the NHS, academia, and industry to advance hearing care.

She co-founded Hearing Diagnostics alongside Dr. Colin Horne (CTO), securing over £1.8M in funding from Archangels across two rounds, with additional support from Scottish Enterprise and Equity Gap.

Hearing Diagnostics has developed the Audimetroid screening technology, a rapid three-minute hearing test deployable without a soundproof booth, targeting UK audiology retailers, optical chains, and the newly opened US over-the-counter hearing aid market.
