Dr. Cristian Rabiti is CEO and Co-Founder at NuCube Energy, a revolutionary nuclear energy company developing the world's first solid state fission reactor capable of producing heat up to 1,100 degrees Celsius. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Stuttgart and an MBA from IE Business School in Madrid.
Before co-founding NuCube in 2023 with entrepreneur Bill Gross, Cristian served as VP of Business Development at Ultra Safe Nuclear Corporation where he secured large industrial customers worth billions of dollars. He previously spent over a decade at Idaho National Laboratory as Department Manager, where he led development of RAVEN, a state of the art nuclear systems risk analysis software, and PHISICS reactor physics solver.
Cristian has published over 116 research papers with 1,233 citations and possesses expertise in reactor physics, probabilistic risk analysis, and energy economics. He combines exceptional technical ability with business acumen and market foresight, enabling him to structure and win complex commercial deals.
NuCube has raised $13 million in funding led by Arizona Nuclear Ventures, with participation from Emission Reduction Corporation and Rob Walton. The company has received strategic support from Shell GameChanger and joined Halliburton Labs ecosystem, and secured partnerships with Utah's San Rafael Energy Lab.
NuCube's microreactor is the only reactor designed to compete with natural gas for high-temperature industrial applications, capable of delivering up to 15 megawatts of power. The technology has positioned NuCube to serve over 180,000 facilities, factories, and industrial sites nationwide with compact, road-transportable nuclear energy solutions.
