Dr. Joey Humphreys is Co-Founder at Eden Robotics, a Y Combinator-backed company delivering autonomous robotic services at scale for manufacturing and logistics.

Joey earned his PhD in robotics from the University of Leeds, focusing on legged robot control frameworks combining optimisation with reinforcement learning, and previously worked on rocket engines.

Joey holds a PhD in robotics, has been published in Nature, and has worked on nearly every robot morphology, making him one of the most technically versatile founders in the space.

At just 13, Joey bootstrapped a 7-figure B2B Adtech company working with influencers, demonstrating an entrepreneurial drive that predates his deep robotics career.

Eden Robotics is accepted into Y Combinator (Batch P26) and is pioneering a labour-as-a-service model, giving manufacturers on-demand access to a robotic workforce without the upfront cost of ownership.
