
Dr. Justin Ko, MD, MBA, is Co-Founder and Medical Advisor at SkinBit, an AI-powered full-body skin cancer screening platform, and serves as Chief of Medical Dermatology at Stanford Medicine.
Dr. Ko graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University, earned his MD from Tufts University School of Medicine, and completed his dermatology residency at Harvard-affiliated hospitals before joining Stanford Medicine in 2012.
Dr. Ko co-founded and chaired the American Academy of Dermatology's Committee on Augmented Intelligence, and his pioneering research on AI applications in dermatology has been published in Nature.
As a Clinical Professor and Associate Chair of Clinical Affairs at Stanford, Dr. Ko also co-founded the Stanford Translational AI in Dermatology (TRAIND) group and the Skin Innovation and Interventional Research Group (SIIRG).
