Dr. Poorya Amini is the Founder and CEO of Risklick AG, a Swiss AI company bringing intelligence and precision to clinical trial protocol development.

Dr. Amini holds a DVM and PhD in pharmacology from the University of Bern, where he also served as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Project Manager in Cardiology at the Clinical Trial Unit.

A scientist turned entrepreneur, Dr. Amini is driven by a mission to enable the pharmaceutical industry to design a clinical study in just one day, using AI as a co-pilot that empowers human expertise rather than replacing it.

He founded Risklick as a University of Bern spin-off and led the launch of Protocol AI, the first-in-class software for clinical trial protocol design, and secured a landmark strategic partnership with Citeline in 2026.
