Dr. Sonia Szamocki is the Founder and CEO of 01Health, a London-based healthtech company building end-to-end infrastructure that enables local clinics to deliver specialist healthcare services previously accessible only in hospitals and major cities.

Oxford-trained and a former NHS A&E doctor, Dr. Szamocki also worked as a consultant at BCG, where she investigated why healthcare infrastructure systematically failed to reach patients outside major urban centres.

Dr. Szamocki identified that the core bottleneck in healthcare is not cost but access, and set out to build the operational and technology layer needed to decentralise specialist care at scale.

She founded 01Health in 2022, growing it to a team of over 100 people and raising a total of $25 million, including a $15 million Series A led by Gresham House Ventures with backing from Balderton Capital, Eka Ventures, and Wavemaker360.

01Health's platform powers 32Co, now the top-rated clear aligner system among UK dentists with 90% of the UK population living within 30 minutes of a provider, and Aerox Health in dental sleep medicine, with US expansion already underway.
