Dr. Stéfen Koubi is Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer at Lupin Dental, the world's first supervised automated multi-treatment dental robotic company, headquartered in Montpellier, France.

Dr. Koubi graduated from the University of Marseille in 1998, completed a residency at Paris University, earned his PhD in 2011, and has served as Associate Professor in the Restorative Department at Marseille University since 2008.

A globally recognized authority in aesthetic dentistry, Dr. Koubi has authored 58 publications, delivered over 250 international lectures, and founded L'Institut de la Facette in 2013, a private training center specializing in laminate veneers and smile design.

Alongside co-founder Dr. Galip Gurel, Dr. Koubi co-created the Lupin Robotic System, which digitally encodes decades of expert clinical expertise to enable dentists at all skill levels to perform complex aesthetic treatments with hair-precision accuracy.

Lupin Dental closed a EUR 15 million Series A round led by Fynveur in 2026, has received regulatory clearance in India and the UK, and is actively expanding partnerships with DSOs and academic institutions worldwide.
