Drew Messer is Co-Founder and CEO of Urban SDK, a geospatial AI platform serving over 300 local governments across 40 states to optimize public safety, transportation, and infrastructure operations. He holds a JD from Liberty University School of Law and is based in Jacksonville, Florida.

Drew served as Florida Political Director for Romney for President, managing 20 political operatives and developing strategies adopted nationwide. He later worked as Senior Government Director at Republic Services Inc, overseeing government affairs for a $500M business unit and managing a $175M municipal line of business.

Drew co-founded Urban SDK in 2016 (launched 2018) with the vision of providing software solutions to help cities become more efficient and effective. The company was selected for Techstars Smart Mobility accelerator in Turin, Italy, joining a portfolio that includes Uber and DataRobot.

Urban SDK raised $65M in growth funding from Riverwood Capital in February 2025, bringing total funding to over $73M. The company was named a 2025 GrowFL Florida Companies to Watch Honoree, recognizing its exceptional innovation and high-growth trajectory.
