Duco studied Corporate and Economic Law at Utrecht University and led Stripe's Benelux and DACH regions for three years. He previously served as Chief Commercial Officer at Fourthline, where he drove exponential growth and secured major clients like Trade Republic and FlatexDEGIRO.
Duco is an angel investor through Sir Nelson Capital, with investments in Mollie, Ticketswap, and Fourthline. He was a columnist for Quote magazine and is passionate about ultrarunning and complex technology.
Duna has raised over 40M euros from Index Ventures, CapitalG, and executives from Stripe, Adyen, and Snowflake. Customers including Plaid and Fiserv achieve 10x faster onboarding and 4.8x productivity gains using Duna's platform.
Duna is building a global identity network enabling businesses to verify once and onboard everywhere, addressing the 10 to 20 percent of bank costs consumed by compliance. The Duna Foundation, a non-profit, holds one-third of the company to ensure positive impact beyond shareholder value.
