Dylan Zhang is the Co-Founder and CEO of Pond Global Ltd., building the market infrastructure for the new startup economy by connecting early-stage AI founders with capital, distribution, and community-powered growth tools.

Dylan is a UCL alumnus and former Huawei executive who completed the Oxford Executive Programme in Blockchain Strategy at Saïd Business School, bringing deep expertise across crypto, AI, and decentralized systems.

Having personally experienced the pain of fragmented funding pathways and distribution bottlenecks while trying to build his own AI startup, Dylan founded Pond to solve the exact problems he faced as a builder.

Prior to Pond, Dylan served as a Founding Member at Spanning Labs (backed by Galaxy Digital), contributed to Gitcoin, co-founded WednesDAO, and held a role at The RSA, accumulating broad experience across Web3 and decentralized organizations.

Pond has raised $7.5M in seed funding led by Archetype, with participation from Coinbase Ventures, Delphi Ventures, and Cyber Fund, and has grown to support 360+ startups across 154 countries.
