Ed Barry is the Founder and CEO of Edify Systems, a hospitality technology platform built to streamline back-of-house operations for cafes, coffee chains, and quick service restaurants.

Ed previously founded Over Under Coffee, a London-based independent cafe chain he scaled to eight locations before exiting to Blank Street in 2022, and also holds experience from roles at BDA Partners and Trade Chase.

Having lived the daily pain of manual stock takes, fragmented ordering, and scattered systems as an operator, Ed built Edify to solve the exact problems he could not find a solution for at scale.

After joining Blank Street post-acquisition and witnessing the same inefficiencies across a larger operation, Ed validated that these challenges were universal across the hospitality sector, leading to the launch of Edify in early 2024.

Edify now serves cafes and QSR operators with a unified ordering platform, real-time inventory monitoring, and daily site-level P&L insights, empowering multi-site hospitality businesses to reduce waste and maximize profitability.
