Ed Leon Klinger is Co-Founder and CEO at Flock, a digital insurtech providing AI-driven insurance for commercial motor fleets. Flock was acquired by Admiral Group in February 2026 for £80 million, and Ed joined Admiral Pioneer's leadership team.

Ed holds a Master's in Engineering from Oxford University (specializing in High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) and a Master's in Technology Policy from Cambridge University. He previously worked in Private Equity at The Blackstone Group and in Technology Policy at Facebook, and lectured at universities in China and Hong Kong.

Ed served as Chairman of the UK Insurtech Board and has been a speaker at InsureTech Connect conferences. He published academic papers on autonomous vehicles and AI safety research at Cambridge's Centre for the Study of Existential Risk.

Flock raised $60 million total funding including a $38 million Series B led by Octopus Ventures in 2023. Under Ed's leadership, Flock grew revenues by more than 30x between Series A (2021) and Series B (2023).

Flock serves over 600 commercial fleet customers including Jaguar Land Rover, Onto, and a third of UK independent Amazon fleets. The company's AI-driven platform has analyzed hundreds of millions of miles of driving data and reduced customer crash frequency by 10%.
