Edward Kizis

Edward Kizis is Co-Founder and CTO at Niv-AI, a Tel Aviv-based deep-tech startup building the intelligence layer between AI data centers and the electrical grid.
Edward studied at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and served in Israel's elite intelligence and technological special forces, including Unit 8200 and Unit 81.
As an electrical and systems engineer, Edward designed and built complex intelligence sensors combining hardware engineering, edge AI, and advanced communication methods, skills he now applies to the GPU power crisis.
Prior to Niv-AI, Edward served as CTO at EPAC Energy, where he developed sensor-based solutions for real-time grid capacity visibility for data centers, EV operations, and commercial and industrial customers.
Niv-AI emerged from stealth in March 2026 with a $12M seed round backed by Glilot Capital, Grove Ventures, Arc VC, Encoded VC, Leap Forward, and Aurora, targeting data centers that lose up to 30% of power capacity due to millisecond-level GPU power spikes.
