Ellis Osborn

Ellis Osborn is Co-Founder and COO of Saturn Labs, a DeFi stablecoin protocol building USDat, the first yield-bearing stablecoin backed by MicroStrategy's Bitcoin credit instrument STRC, targeting 11%+ APY.
Ellis studied finance and computer science at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he served as President of Penn Blockchain and Director of Investments at FranklinDAO, sharpening his expertise in crypto investment and on-chain infrastructure.
Ellis brings a rare blend of institutional investing and hands-on DeFi experience, having operated his own Bitcoin mining farm in South Florida alongside his academic and professional commitments.
Prior to co-founding Saturn Labs, Ellis worked as an Investment Analyst at M31 Capital, a DeFi-focused venture and liquid fund, where he concentrated on verifiable compute, decentralized cloud infrastructure, and cryptographic primitives.
Saturn Labs raised $800K in a pre-seed round from YZi Labs, Sora Ventures, and prominent crypto angels, positioning itself at the intersection of stablecoins, DATs, and RWAs to become a core layer of the on-chain economy.
