Emil Arvedsen

Emil Arvedsen is Co-Founder and co-CEO of Immunordic, a Copenhagen-based biotech company pioneering fast, accessible nanobody discovery for research, diagnostics, and drug development.
Emil studied brain physiology at the University of Copenhagen, where his own frustrating experience trying to obtain nanobodies for his PhD research directly inspired the creation of Immunordic.
A second-time founder with a background in Biotech and Neuroscience specialising in R&D, Emil pivoted Immunordic from wet-lab synthetic library methods to an AI and machine learning-based approach to protein binder identification.
Prior to Immunordic, Emil gained experience at the University of California Davis Department of Biomedical Sciences, Diagnovus Diagnostics, and Biosyntia, building a strong foundation across academic and industry biotech roles.
Immunordic has compressed nanobody discovery from up to 12 months down to just 30 days using proprietary technology, with ambitions to offer customers access to a library of around 100 billion nanobodies through an automated ordering platform.
