Emily Kucharski

Emily Kucharski is the Co-Founder and CEO of WholeSum, a UK-based hybrid AI analytics startup that converts unstructured text into statistically robust, auditable, and reproducible insights for high-trust industries.
Emily studied at the University of Nottingham and previously co-founded Wish I'd Known, a parenting data platform that crowdsourced and analysed user experiences, where firsthand frustration with unreliable LLM outputs sparked the idea for WholeSum.
Emily recognised that organisations across research, healthcare, and financial services were hitting a wall with generic AI tools that produced outputs too inconsistent and opaque to act on, and set out to build infrastructure that brings scientific rigour to qualitative data analysis at scale.
Prior to her entrepreneurial journey, Emily served as Marketing and Communications Director (Volunteer) at Better Giving Partnership, and has collaborated with institutions including Imperial College London and Female Founders Rise in partnership with Barclays.
WholeSum has raised over $1.3M in combined pre-seed and grant funding, including backing from Twin Path Ventures, Love Ventures, and Beamline, and is actively deploying pilots with enterprise clients in pharmaceuticals, financial services, and academia.
