Emily Weiss

Emily Weiss is Co-Founder of Ditto Biosciences, a pioneering biotech company developing evolutionary therapies for autoimmune disease by harnessing parasite biology and AI.
Emily holds a PhD in microbiology, genomics, and plant genetics, with deep expertise in sequencing, high-throughput screening, and computational pipeline development, and has been published in Nature Microbiology and eLife.
A molecular and computational biologist at heart, Emily leads Ditto's platform for engineering parasite-derived therapeutics, driven by the insight that viruses, ticks, and worms have spent millions of years perfecting molecules that control the human immune system.
Prior to Ditto, Emily worked at Illumina and DuPont, and contributed to an early-stage biotech venture team, bringing cross-sector expertise spanning industry genomics, agriculture, and drug discovery.
Within seven months of founding, Ditto analyzed over 1 million proteins across primate-infecting viruses, ticks, and parasitic worms, discovering thousands of proteins predicted to hit clinically validated human immune targets.
