Emma Zhang is the Co-Founder and CEO of PactFi, a secure end-to-end operational platform modernizing the private credit transaction market.

Emma holds a combined Bachelor of Law and Commerce (Finance) from the University of Sydney and built her career in investment banking, specializing in structured credit and leveraged finance at Deutsche Bank across Hong Kong and New York.

Drawing on firsthand experience navigating the inefficiencies of private credit deal workflows, Emma co-founded PactFi to replace fragmented email and spreadsheet processes with shared, structured infrastructure.

Prior to PactFi, Emma served as Head of Product at Bond.One, deepening her expertise at the intersection of financial markets and technology before launching PactFi in 2020 alongside co-founder and CTO Alexa Halcomb.

Since launching in 2023, PactFi has processed over $300 billion in deal volume across more than 250 counterparties and supports eight of the top 20 credit asset managers representing $3.4 trillion in combined AUM.
