Emmet King is Co-Founder and Managing Partner at J12 Ventures, a Stockholm-based early-stage venture capital firm backing frontier-tech and AI-driven companies across Europe, with an active portfolio spanning AI enablers and applications.

Emmet holds an MSc in Corporate Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics and studied at the University of Birmingham, building a strong foundation before entering the startup and investment world.

Emmet co-founded consumer fintech company NOWO, which went public in 2021, and was part of the founding team of angel investor network DHS in 2015, giving him deep operational and investing experience.

At J12 Ventures, Emmet has worked with portfolio companies including Deasy Labs and Formulate through to their acquisitions, and led J12's pre-seed investment in Galdera Labs, an AI-native financial modeling platform.
