Eric Ciarla is Co-Founder and Chief Growth Officer at Firecrawl, the leading web data API for AI that enables developers and AI agents to search, scrape, crawl, and interact with the web at scale.

Eric previously worked as a Data Scientist at Ford Motor Company and Fracta, and went on to co-found Mendable (YC S22), a document-chat tool adopted by Snapchat, Coinbase, and MongoDB, before spinning out Firecrawl from that experience.

Eric also co-founded SideGuide, a VS Code-based code learning tool that grew to 50,000 users, reflecting his consistent focus on building developer-first products with strong community traction.

At Firecrawl, Eric leads growth and go-to-market strategy, and has been instrumental in scaling the platform and developing Fire Engine, Firecrawl's proprietary scraping technology.

Firecrawl now serves over 1.5 million developers and 150,000 companies worldwide, including Shopify, Apple, and Canva, and has amassed over 180,000 GitHub stars, making it one of the top 100 repositories on GitHub.
