Eric holds a BS and MS in Computer Science from Yale University and co-founded Fitbit in 2007, serving as CTO and leading it through a $2.1 billion acquisition by Google in 2021.
Eric previously co-founded Wind-Up Labs and served as Engineer Manager at CNET Networks, founding engineer at Epesi Technologies, and technical member of Microsoft's Real-Time Collaboration Group.
At Fitbit, Eric helped build a global community of nearly 150 million users, pioneering the wearable fitness tracking industry and leading the company through a successful IPO in 2015.
