Eric Levine

Eric Levine is the Co-Founder of Clawvisor, the authorization layer for AI agents that enables safe, credential-protected access to apps like Gmail, Slack, and Google Drive. He is a serial entrepreneur and engineer with deep roots in trust, safety, and identity technology.
Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego, and built his engineering career at Google (2010-2012) and Airbnb (2012-2017), where he led Trust and Safety engineering.
Eric identified a critical gap in how AI agents interact with user data, arguing that OAuth's authorization model is fundamentally broken for nondeterministic agents, and built Clawvisor to enforce task-scoped, policy-driven access controls at the API layer.
Prior to Clawvisor, Eric co-founded Berbix (YC S18), a best-in-class identity verification platform that was acquired by Socure in 2023 for $70 million, where he then served as SVP and Head of DocV. He also served as a Visiting Group Partner at Y Combinator.
Clawvisor, backed by Y Combinator (P26), supports leading AI agents including OpenClaw, Claude Code, and Perplexity Computer, and is pioneering a new category of agent-native security infrastructure as AI automation goes mainstream.
