Eric Queathem

Eric Queathem is CEO and Co-Founder of Velocity, a next-generation stablecoin payments and treasury infrastructure platform built for global enterprises, CFOs, and treasury teams.
Eric spent nearly a decade at Worldpay as EVP and Global Head of Strategy and Emerging Businesses, leading corporate strategy, acquisitions, and launching their crypto and global payouts division, and previously worked at McKinsey and Company.
Eric holds a bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and was named runner-up Student Entrepreneur of the Year while still an undergraduate.
At Velocity, Eric co-founded the company alongside payments veteran Tom Greenwood, raising $50 million in total funding including a $38 million Series A led by Dragonfly and FirstMark, with backing from Coinbase, Capital One Ventures, QED Investors, Ripple, and Wintermute.
Velocity already operates across the United States, Europe, and Australia, serving global merchants, payment providers, fintechs, and financial institutions, with plans to expand into Africa and Latin America.
