Eric Riesel is Co-Founder at 83 Sciences (YC S26), an AI-native platform building the intelligence engine to accelerate materials discovery for the next industrial revolution.

Eric holds a CS and EE degree from Harvard and previously rose to Principal at Boston Consulting Group, where he led BCG's internal AI program scaling tools and practices to a global firm of 30,000+ users.

Eric brings a rare blend of deep tech and enterprise strategy, having worked in Harvard's Wyss Institute soft robotics lab and immunology research at Roswell Park Cancer Center before pivoting to management consulting.

At BCG, Eric served in the Tech and Digital practice and as recruiting dean for the Bay Area offices, giving him a strong foundation in scaling organizations and deploying AI at enterprise scale.
