Ermes Zamboni is Co-Founder and CEO of Jaipur Robotics, a Swiss AI company transforming industrial waste-to-energy plant operations through computer vision and automation.

Ermes studied at Politecnico di Milano and developed deep expertise in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, and industrial automation, later applying deep learning knowledge from ETH Zurich to industrial challenges.

A Techstars '24 alumnus, Ermes co-founded Jaipur Robotics after a pivotal encounter at an event in Italy, where a major European WtE plant director recognized the transformative potential of their early work.

Ermes previously led projects integrating Autonomous Mobile Robots with SAP EWM, achieving over 30% profitability increases, and now steers Jaipur Robotics through its rapid international expansion across Europe and Asia.

Under his leadership, Jaipur Robotics has deployed its AI platform across more than 35 waste facilities in Europe, analyzing over 5 million tonnes of waste per year with 99% hazardous material detection accuracy, and helping plants reduce unplanned shutdowns by over 80%.
