Evan is a serial founder, power trader, and investor with over 20 years in the energy sector, including a decade as a power trader in ERCOT and a role as Head of Venture Investing at Riverstone Holdings, a $40B+ energy investment and infrastructure firm.

Evan's firsthand experience navigating the pain points of existing power trading workflows in Texas's unregulated ERCOT market directly inspired the creation of ElectronX to modernize electricity risk management infrastructure.

Beyond ElectronX, Evan co-founded Daylight Energy, HGP Storage, and Montauk Climate, and previously served as Co-Head of North American Power at TrailStone, with board roles at RPower and advisory positions at ClearTrace and Amperon.

ElectronX has raised over $61.5M across seed and Series A rounds, earned full CFTC regulatory approval as both a Designated Contract Market and Designated Clearing Organization, and is backed by leading investors including DCVC, Innovation Endeavors, Equinor Ventures, and Shell Ventures.
