Evan Wineland

Evan Wineland is Co-Founder and CEO of Weave Robotics, a home robotics company building Isaac, the world's first personal robot designed from the ground up for the home.
Evan studied at Carnegie Mellon University, where he met his co-founder, and went on to become Lead AI PM at Apple, shipping Next-Gen Siri (Apple Intelligence), large-scale on-device knowledge graphs, and key features like Communication Safety and Focus modes.
Evan champions a deployment-first philosophy, believing that shipping real robots to real customers is the strategy, not a milestone, driving Weave to go from founding to paid commercial deployments in under a year.
Weave Robotics graduated from Y Combinator's Summer 2024 batch and has raised $500K in seed funding from investors including Y Combinator and CoreNest, with Isaac actively deployed in San Francisco laundromats via a partnership with Tumble.
Isaac earned an SFDW Innovation Award 2026 for its home-first industrial design, and Weave is shipping its first units to home customers in 2026, targeting the 3.5 years the average American spends on housework.
