Fabian Le Gay Brereton

Fabian Le Gay Brereton is Co-Founder and CEO of Gridcog, a leading clean energy software platform empowering developers, energy majors, and consultants to model complex renewable energy projects with speed and transparency.
Fabian holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Western Australia and completed an executive education program in Customer Focused Innovation at Stanford GSB, building a career in web-based software since the dot-com era.
A repeat clean energy entrepreneur, Fabian previously co-founded Greensense, a sustainability analytics platform that was acquired by ERM Power (now Shell Energy), where he later served as General Manager of Digital and Advisory.
Gridcog launched in February 2020 and has since raised a £7 million Series A led by ABB Electrification Ventures, with participation from Verbund Ventures, Axpo Ventures, and DNV Ventures, and is now headquartered in London with offices in Berlin, Madrid, Perth, and Melbourne.
Clients have modeled tens of thousands of renewable energy projects across every continent on the platform, with Gridcog serving some of the world's largest energy transition companies including Shell, Origin Energy, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, and EY.
