Fabio Zuliani is Co-Founder and CEO at miros (MIROS Technology), a Swiss robotics startup developing connected workpods and transformable workspace solutions. He holds a PhD in Robotics from EPFL with a thesis on Human Interactive Robotic Surfaces for Physical Immersion.
Fabio studied Microengineering at EPFL, completed his Master thesis at Northeastern University in Boston, and worked at an EPFL-Fribourg startup before pursuing his PhD at the Reconfigurable Robotics Lab led by Professor Jamie Paik.
Fabio co-founded miros with Neil Chennoufi in 2023 as an EPFL spin-off, leveraging patented technology from the Reconfigurable Robotics Lab. The company received a CHF 100,000 Innogrant from EPFL Startup Launchpad in 2023 and raised 1.1 million euros in pre-seed funding in 2026.
miros has deployed 15 workpods across Switzerland and internationally, partnering with SwissTech Convention Centre, Geneva Airport, Beaulieu, and Hopital Riviera-Chablais. The company delivered its first commercial implementation to Helvetic Circle in Zug and expanded to Toulouse, France.
miros aims to reduce constructed volume needs by up to 30% through transformable and adaptive spaces. The company targets over 100 pod deployments by end of 2026 and envisions making commercial real estate flexible, modular, and on-demand.
