Faizaan Chishtie

Faizaan Chishtie is Co-Founder and CEO of Minicor (YC X26), a Y Combinator-backed platform enabling AI companies to automate legacy Windows desktop workflows through self-healing desktop automations at scale.
Faizaan holds a B.A.Sc. in Software Engineering from the University of Ottawa and began his career as an early engineer at Phoenix (YC W21), building and scaling integrations at YC-backed startups, before founding multiple ventures of his own.
A serial builder, Faizaan co-founded Homeboard Technologies, growing it to mid five-figures in ARR, and launched the non-profit Software For Love to mobilize student volunteers, demonstrating a rare blend of commercial and social entrepreneurship.
Faizaan and co-founder Saheed Akinbile met in 2019, raised a pre-seed from NOMO Ventures under the name Laminar, and pivoted into desktop automation after a breakthrough customer need in healthcare exposed a massive gap in legacy system connectivity.
Minicor was accepted into Y Combinator's Spring 2026 batch (X26) and serves AI companies selling into healthcare, automotive, financial services, and logistics that are blocked by legacy desktop software with no APIs, enabling them to go live in hours.
