Farhan Afsahi is the CTO at Beltic, a San Francisco-based startup building AI-native agent verification infrastructure to secure the agentic economy. He brings deep expertise in data infrastructure, regulatory compliance, and product engineering to Beltic's founding team.

Farhan co-founded Verifiet in 2022, a global business-identity data platform that built direct integrations with government registries across the U.S., Europe, and Asia, enabling real-time company verification across 90+ jurisdictions. Verifiet was acquired by Beltic in December 2025, at which point Farhan joined as CTO.

Farhan is a passionate advocate for AI-native verification stacks, arguing that retrofitting legacy compliance tools for the agentic era is insufficient. His technical philosophy centers on building infrastructure from the ground up to meet the speed and scale demands of autonomous AI transactions.

Prior to Verifiet, Farhan founded Xegrid and served as Creative Director at Qoulio, demonstrating a versatile background spanning engineering, product design, and front-end development. His skills span regulatory compliance frameworks including AML, OFAC, and the Bank Secrecy Act.

Through the Verifiet acquisition, Farhan brought Beltic a global entity data platform covering more than 500 million entities across multiple countries. Beltic has since raised $8.8M in total funding and is building the trust infrastructure layer for the emerging agentic economy.
