Farid Mirmohseni, PhD, is the Co-Founder and CEO of Kimia, the first AI platform built specifically for the chemical industry, turning decades of trapped institutional expertise into real-time commercial intelligence.
Farid earned his PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Sydney and previously founded WipeHero, where he invented and patented the world's first waterless car wash and wax cream, scaling it to 7-figure revenue.
A self-described hacker turned academic turned company builder, Farid is also an active mentor and advisor to startups through UNSW Founders, and is driven by the mission of creating a chemically abundant world.

Kimia's platform has been deployed across hundreds of thousands of SKUs, with customers reporting 30 to 50% reductions in technical service load and 2 to 5% win rate gains, targeting a chemical AI market projected to reach $5.2B by 2030.
