Ferdinand Dabitz

Ferdinand Dabitz is Co-Founder and CEO of Augustus Bank, the world's first AI- and stablecoin-native clearing bank, poised to become the youngest CEO of a federally chartered US bank in over 140 years.
A Thiel Fellow who dropped out of college to pursue entrepreneurship, Dabitz co-founded Augustus in 2022 alongside Joshua Becker, Simon Wimmer, and Peter Lieck, driven by a lifelong obsession with banking and finance.
Dabitz believes the dollar is the greatest financial product ever created but that its distribution is fundamentally broken, and he has built Augustus from the ground up on code, AI, and stablecoins rather than legacy paper systems.
Under Dabitz's leadership, Augustus (formerly Ivy) raised $40 million from Peter Thiel's Valar Ventures, Creandum, and founders of Ramp, Deel, and Circle, and secured a rare conditional OCC national bank charter.
Augustus is processing billions for global financial institutions including Kraken, growing 10x year over year, and operates regulated European subsidiaries already clearing euro transactions cross-border.
