Florent Gros is Co-Founder and Chairman of Amyl Therapeutics, a Belgian preclinical-stage biotech pioneering the ClariTY platform to treat all forms of amyloidosis and neurodegenerative diseases.

Florent held leadership roles in venture, intellectual property, and business transactions at Nestle, Pasteur Merieux Connaught, and Novartis across Switzerland, Europe, and North America, and spent 15 years at the Novartis Venture Fund seeding and managing biotech startups.

A Kauffman Fellow with a background in biotechnology, patent law, and private law, Florent brings over 28 years of expertise in biopharma investment and intellectual property management.

He has served as investor, director, and advisor for leading biotechs including Adicet Bio, Gensight Biologics, Oculis, Merus, and Vivet Therapeutics, and also co-founded Priothera and Handl Therapeutics.

Amyl Therapeutics has raised over $31.7M in total funding and is advancing its lead clinical candidate toward GMP production, with plans to double its R&D team and expand laboratory facilities at the LegiaPark life sciences campus in Liege.
