Francho García

Francho García is Co-Founder and CEO of Arkadia Space, a SpaceTech company pioneering green chemical propulsion systems for satellites and space vehicles, positioning itself as the sustainable alternative to toxic hydrazine-based fuels.
An aerospace engineer from the Technical University of Madrid, Francho spent several years at the European Space Agency (ESA) working in quality assurance, then joined PLD Space where he led the Mission Department and played a key role in securing the company's first commercial customers.
With over 10 years of experience in the space sector, Francho combines deep engineering expertise with a sharp focus on business development and fundraising, driving Arkadia to become the first Spanish space company backed by the EIC Accelerator.
Under his leadership, Arkadia raised a total of approximately 17.3M euros, including a 2.8M euro seed round led by Draper B1 in 2023 and a 14.5M euro EIC Accelerator package in 2025, while securing four ESA contracts and a commercial supply agreement with MaiaSpace.
In March 2025, Arkadia achieved a historic milestone as its DARK propulsion system became the first hydrogen peroxide-based propulsion technology to fly in orbit from Europe, launched aboard a D-Orbit ION Satellite Carrier on SpaceX's Transporter-13 mission, with the technology cutting operational costs by over 60% compared to conventional hydrazine systems.
