Gabriel Levesque Tremblay

Gabriel Levesque Tremblay, PhD, is Co-Founder and CEO of HexemBio, a longevity biotech pioneering the world's first blood stem cell rejuvenation therapy using a proprietary Synthetic Human Yolk Sac platform.
Gabriel grew up in Chicoutimi, Quebec, earned his PhD from the University of British Columbia, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at UC Berkeley's Energy Biosciences Institute before directing technical affairs at AIChE on Wall Street, where he secured over $100M in grants from NSF, DOE, NIH, and DOD.
A two-time founder and Y Combinator alum, Gabriel previously co-founded Orbillion Bio, where he developed a breakthrough AI-driven algorithm to scale cultivated meat production commercially.
At HexemBio, Gabriel leads a world-class team of MDs and PhDs from MIT, Harvard, and UC Berkeley, backed by Draper Associates, SOSV, and Seraphim, with advisors including Robert Langer and George Church.
HexemBio raised $10.4M in seed funding, secured FDA Orphan Drug Designation in July 2025, and is targeting first-in-human trials in 2027, with its foundational research published in Nature and featured in the New York Times.
