Gautam Sharda

Gautam Sharda, 23, is a Co-Founder at Ghost, a San Francisco-based personal AI hardware startup that emerged from stealth in October 2026 with an $11M seed round led by Andreessen Horowitz.
Gautam previously worked as a Software Engineer at Google, where he contributed to Cloud SDK build and release infrastructure as well as Gemini Code Assist's retrieval augmented generation systems.
With a background in computer science, software engineering, and machine learning research, Gautam also built computer-use and voice agents prior to co-founding Ghost, reflecting a deep hands-on passion for AI systems.
At Ghost, Gautam is part of a four-person founding team building Core, a $3,499 screenless personal computer powered by an Nvidia RTX Pro 4000 Blackwell GPU that runs open AI models and agents entirely on-device.
Ghost secured backing from Andreessen Horowitz, Abstract, Audacious Ventures, SV Angel, and Nova, with Batch 1 of Core selling out and shipping in late October 2026, signaling strong early market demand for private, local AI computing.
