Georgios Papoutsis is Co-Founder and Engineer at DeepInfra, a cutting-edge AI inference cloud platform purpose-built to make running open-source machine learning models fast, reliable, and cost-effective for developers and enterprises worldwide.

Georgios studied Physics at Technische Universitat Berlin, then built his engineering career at Siemens and Avnet Logistics before joining PageBites (imo.im), where he helped scale the messaging platform's backend infrastructure to over 200 million monthly active users.

Georgios and his co-founders are recognized for winning international coding and math competitions, bringing a rare combination of competitive technical acumen and large-scale systems expertise to the AI infrastructure space.

Prior to DeepInfra, Georgios honed his skills in high-throughput, latency-sensitive infrastructure at imo.im, a global messaging app with over 1 billion Play Store downloads, giving him firsthand experience in operating distributed systems at massive scale.

DeepInfra has scaled its processing volume over 8,000 times since its 2022 seed round, now handling nearly five trillion tokens per week, and has raised over 133 million dollars in total funding, including a 107 million dollar Series B backed by NVIDIA, 500 Global, Felicis, and Samsung Next.
