Geourg Kivijian

Geourg Kivijian is Co-Founder and CEO of Ornadyne, a Y Combinator-backed defense tech startup engineering autonomous flapping-wing drones that look, fly, and sound like real birds for military reconnaissance.
Geourg built deep expertise in flapping-wing robotics through his Master's thesis, spending 2+ years designing, building, and testing ornithopter systems, producing award-winning AIAA and IEEE conference publications.
An award-winning engineer recognized by both IEEE and AIAA, Geourg previously led coordination systems for Mars Sample Return at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory and worked on lunar rovers at Astrolab.
His rare combination of academic research excellence and elite aerospace engineering experience at NASA JPL and Astrolab uniquely positions him to solve the hardest problems in bio-inspired autonomous flight.
Ornadyne won Y Combinator's group product showcase and is actively working with defense stakeholders to deploy the next generation of stealth surveillance platforms that counter-UAS systems cannot detect.
