Gil Elbaz is Co-Founder and Chief AI Officer at Onyx Security, the secure AI control plane built to help enterprises govern and control autonomous AI agents at scale.

Gil studied at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, served in the Israeli Air Force's Operational Technology Unit, and co-founded Datagen as CTO, pioneering synthetic data for visual AI.

Before starting Onyx, Gil worked directly in the CTO office at Nvidia, leading multi-agent infrastructure work and gaining firsthand insight into the risks posed by ungoverned AI agents in enterprise environments.

Gil co-founded Onyx Security in 2024 alongside Maxim Bar Kogan, combining deep AI expertise with a mission to build the governance layer that enterprises need as AI agents become integral to critical workflows.

Onyx has raised $153M in total funding including a $113M Series B led by Bessemer Venture Partners, achieved a $640M valuation, quadrupled revenue within four months of launch, and secured integrations with Anthropic while serving Fortune 500 clients.
