Gio Hobbins is Co-Founder and CPO at Schematic, a pricing and entitlement infrastructure platform for SaaS and AI companies that raised $12M and partnered with Stripe. He leads product and design for the company based in Boulder, Colorado.

Gio studied philosophy at Emory University and previously served as VP of Product at Relay Payments and CPO at Matcha. He also worked as a product designer at FullStory and co-founded Campus Bubble and Nightly Labs, both of which were successfully acquired.

The Schematic founding team has worked together for nearly a decade, encountering pricing and packaging challenges firsthand at growth-stage SaaS companies. Gio is a Techstars mentor and advisor to multiple startups in the product and design space.

Schematic helps companies like Plotly reduce pricing changes from weeks to 10 minutes and serves customers including Automox, Florence, and Sema4.ai. The platform recently launched a Stripe integration to enforce entitlements at runtime.

Schematic addresses the shift toward hybrid and consumption-based pricing models, which now represent 38% of SaaS companies as AI accelerates the move away from seat-based pricing. The company enables non-technical teams to manage pricing and packaging without engineering support.
